Merry 'Disney' Christmas

We surprised our crew of littles with the news of a few days in Orlando for this year's Christmas...
 We got a deal of 4 days/3 nights for $199 ($100 cash back after a 'no pressure' club owner sales pitch) and combined frequent flyer miles to make the 'dream come true,' if you will…ha.  

 I think we picked the best day to go.  The weather was in the 70's and we waited no more than 10 minutes in line for rides.  Most rides, in fact, we just walked on up to.  We seemed to be just a day ahead of the holiday masses...

 Here I am, on the ferry, trying to explain to Joshua how things work… he was a little fearful of potentially scary rides...

 We drove the grand prix cars a couple times.  Both times, this was my driver.  She looked at me at one point and said, "This is the best day of my life!"

 It's a small world after all...

 We filled up our own log on Splash Mountain...






 Nothing like making memories...


 Friday, we spent the day at the pool… weather in the 80's… glorious R&R… we are so grateful...





 It was a blessed vacation… God is gracious to us.

Hele on to Hawaii

This post is primarily intended for our extended family to enjoy a few glimpses from our recent trip to Oahu, Hawaii as a family.  I spent four formative years of my life growing up there.  Tony and I had had the privilege to visit a couple occasions years ago before children.  With my 40th birthday around the corner, we saved up frequent flyer miles, hotel points, and the like in order to afford the opportunity to share this place with them.  What a gift.  We are grateful.  Hope you enjoy.
