Happy Thanksgiving

Image
We hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were blessed to have the opportunity to visit with family in Kentucky for the week.  It is always a beautiful drive through the mountains of Asheville, Eastern Tennessee, and through the Cumberland Gap.  Around the Cumberland Gap, however, we did run into snow and sleet but are grateful for safe arrival Monday night.

I am thankful for my husband, who is my best friend, as well as our children and all our family...  Aunt Lisa login on Joshua...  Tony and Joshua headed up to Georgetown Tuesday evening to beat more snowy weather.  They got to spend an evening with Tony's sister, Lisa, and all their crew (including their dog, Happy, who followed Tony around) before catching UK's 500th win against Cleveland State at Rupp Arena.    Titus… there are no words….  Girl slumber party...  Our snow dusting...

Then the furnace went out.. Snuggles and hot coffee...

Around the space heater...  Papaw and James went after the flurries …

November Road Trips...

The first weekend of this month I had the wonderfully restful opportunity to take a mom retreat with my dear friend, Ashley, from New Orleans...  She flew in and we headed to Wrightsville Beach...
 Oh so wonderful...

Grateful for this friend...  I drove straight to RDU from Wrightsville and then re-entered reality back in Wake Forest...  I missed my crew...

The following weekend we took an overnight trip to mom and dad's for a "homeschool field trip"  to the  Jamestown Settlement in Williamsburg...  Our  queen with The Queen...  Indian village...
