Merry Christmas!

We hope you and yours have had a wonderful Christmas holiday!
Here are a few glimpses from ours:
Celebrating the birth of our Savior together as Imago Dei family at the chapel of SEBTS...
Jesus, God with us.

O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Rod of Jesse, free
Thine own from Satan's tyranny
From depths of Hell Thy people save
And give them victory o'er the grave
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Day-Spring, come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night
And death's dark shadows put to flight.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Key of David, come,
And open wide our heavenly home;
Make safe the way that leads on high,
And close the path to misery.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

Following some time with friends, Tony and I played Santa...

Christmas morning was a sweet time of reflection of God's grace in bring us together as a family, as well as a time of many giggles over the presents...

"Wow, I've never worn sports teams on my feet before!"

 Representin'

Treasured this up in my heart...
Christmas morning we had the pleasure and privilege of taking food to our local police department.  It was a blessing to get to do something to serve these men and women in uniform.  We are grateful for their service to our community.

The rest of the day was a day of much lounging and relaxation... what grace!

Preparations for our family Christmas meal...
Meanwhile, this guy hasn't quite been himself, but he sure loves to snuggle...

Angela chasing the chickens away... never a dull moment...

 Word searches...
 Video gaming...
 Knitting...
 Shooting hoops...
 Painting...
 Darts...

Family time around the table... God is gracious to us.  We are thankful for His kindness towards us.

Merry Christmas!
